Web Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Web Developer at Imperial MEA, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to functionality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to create visually appealing and user-friendly web experiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of front-end development technologies, a keen eye for design, and a passion for delivering high-quality websites.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers and other team members to translate visual designs into efficient and responsive web interfaces.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
• Develop visually appealing, user-friendly websites that align with design mockups and brand guidelines.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility by performing thorough testing and debugging.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end interfaces with server-side functionalities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web functionality, performance, and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Web Developer, Frontend Developer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant front-end technologies.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Experience with backend programming languages and technologies is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing previous web development projects is highly desirable.
